( Aztecs )( Coyote )I despise winter at the best of times. This year is not shaping up to be one of my favourites. |

I've been feeling... odd... since coming back from the Feathered Serpent's apartment. Not right. I don't know what's wrong, but it's not been fixed by spending time with Ebony, Julian and Dom, and that's... worrying.
I can't afford a weakness right now.

It's amazing how refreshing it is to spend a few days with properly attentive company.
[Private]
I'll have words with Ebony and Julian tonight, and send them on a little errand. The Christians and the New Gods are on edge already; it should only take a little push to make things that much more violent. I miss proper violence, real violence. The things humans do to each other only start to take the edge off my hunger. I left too many bruises this weekend.
I should really decide what to do about Dominic one of these days. Time was I would have eaten his heart by now. Spending time with the Feathered Serpent is softening me.

Sydney awoke to a red sky this morning. Sure, it was only a dust storm, but it made me think of the interesting old days, when my people would wake to a blood sky on the morning of sacrifice. I've yet to decide whether today is an improvement or not. |

So lovely to be back in the city. I feel like I've been on a plane for the past week, and while I love my children dearly, they can get very tiresome when one has to spend days on end with them. I'm going to have to start giving them Valium before we fly, the way some of them carry on. Still, the move to the city was a good idea; Boston is nice enough, but there's simply more work here.
Things certainly have changed since I was here last. So many new faces. It can't have been more than what, thirty years, and here I find myself in a veritable cornucopia of divine beings. It does promise to spice things up a little, I suppose. |
